1. What String Is

String is a platform that connects podcast listeners with podcast hosts during live recording sessions. Listeners can join queues, speak with hosts, and potentially appear on podcast recordings.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use String. If you're under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

3. Your Account

• You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You're responsible for all activity under your account
• One person, one account - don't create multiple accounts
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use String for any illegal purpose
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or hosts
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Share content that is defamatory, obscene, or harmful
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

When participating in podcast recordings:

• You understand conversations may be recorded and published
• You grant the podcast host rights to use your voice and likeness in their podcast
• You're responsible for what you say - be respectful

5. Content & Recordings

Your Content:

• You retain ownership of content you create
• By using String, you grant us a license to transmit your audio during live sessions
• You grant podcast hosts the right to record, edit, and publish conversations you participate in

Podcast Content:

• Podcasts on String are created by independent hosts, not by us
• We don't control or endorse content created by podcast hosts
• Hosts are responsible for their own content and recordings

6. Intellectual Property

• String, our logo, and our branding are our property
• You may not use our branding without permission
• The Service and its original content are protected by copyright and other laws

7. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We don't guarantee:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Any particular podcast will be available
• You will be selected to appear on any podcast
• The quality of any podcast content

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRING DEVELOPMENT PTY LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless String Development Pty Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Content you submit or share through the Service
• Your participation in podcast recordings

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Termination

• You can stop using String at any time
• We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
